A new program is offered in the field of disability. This multi-disciplinary and innovative course if available to master's students from the schools of occupational therapy, medicine and social work.
This specialization, developed in conjunctions with the different schools will enable theoretic, empirical and practical knowledge in terms of policy, intervention and rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the lifespan. While this includes a large collection of individuals, there are specific challenges that require addressing from a number of different health professionals.
Using perceptions from a range of professional enables a variety of view points that can be integrated emphasizing the theoretic and practical implications on policy, social, medical and function aspects for assessment, intervention and rehabilitation for a population of over one millions Israeli citizens
