Prof. Haitham Amal is amog an international consortium that won a research grant in the amount of 17 million dollars to promote groundbreaking research in the field of autism. The research will focus on the effects of environmental factors on the development of autism, with the aim of developing innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment. Prof. Amal's group is the only one outside the USA
