Prof. Yossi Tam and Prof. Ofra Benny from the School of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Medicine Won the Prestigious Kaye Award for their Groundbreaking Research. Tomer Babu, PHD student from the School of Pharmacy, also won a Kaye prize for students.

The Kaye Awards are presented to researchers who excel in innovation and impactful work.
This year’s winners:
  • Prof. Ofra Benny was awarded for her pioneering work in developing an advanced "tumor-on-a-chip" platform, which combines cutting-edge bioengineering with in-depth research into tumor microenvironments.
  • Prof. Yossi Tam was recognized for his research aimed at addressing the global health crisis of obesity and associated metabolic disorders by developing innovative therapeutic solutions.
