The Medical School has pre-clinical and clinical programs which are responsible, cooperatively, for pre-clinical and clinical studies.

The Pre-clinical teaching program

The pre-clinical teaching departments are responsible for most of the pre-clinical teaching of medical students. Most pre-clinical teaching program is based in the Institute for Medical Research at the Faculty of Medicine. Teaching divisions, located in the School of Pharmacy and Public Health, are also active contributors to teaching medical students. Among the various subject taught are: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Developmental Biology, Metabolism and Nutrition, Physiology, Human Genetics, Pharmacology, Pathology, Morphological and Developmental Sciences, Clinical Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Neurobiology and Endocrinology.

The Clinical teaching program

The majority of the clinical studies are carried out in Hadassah Ein-Kerem and Hadassah Mount Scopus hospitals. In addition, chosen departments in subsidiary hospital including Bikur-Cholim (general hospital), Shaarei-Tzedek (general hospital, Kaplan (general hospital), Herzog (psychiatric-geriatric), Eitanim-Kfar Shaul (psychiatric), and Talbiyeh (psychiatric clinic), contribute to the teaching and clinical research of the Faculty.

Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery (General Surgery, Anesthesiology, Plastic Surgery, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Internal Medicine (Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Clinical Pharmacology, Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Hematology and Blood Bank, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Allergy and Immunology, Emergency Medicine (trauma), Geriatrics, Neurology, Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Public Health, Social Medicine, Ecology, Administration and Health Economics, Genetics, Dermatology, Pathology, Imaging, X-ray, Medical Biophysics, Clinical Microbiology.
