About the program

The program is a collaboration between the Hebrew University and the Abisch-Frenkel Foundation in Switzerland & Germany, which works to encourage excellence in medical research.
The program is designed for outstanding students with a bachelor's degree. Participants will complete a doctorate in the direct track.
We are creating a new framework to provide the best conditions to the most excellent students!

More details

Students in the program will begin their studies under a Masters program, and after one year will transition to a Ph.D. program in which they will continue for up to five more years to complete the degree.
Each student's studies and research will be instructed by one of the research faculty members in the Faculty of Medicine, according to their choice and the acceptance of the supervisor. Completion of the degree is based on completion of courses, and completion of research work under the supervision of the supervisor.

Eligibility

Students that obtained a Bachelor's degrees in life sciences, medicine, or related fields such as chemistry, computer science, engineering, or physics, from recognized academic institutions.
Admission to the track will be based on bachelor degree grades (90 or higher at the time of applying) and a personal interview, which includes reading an article and presenting a research proposal.

The studies will take place under the Biomedical Sciences program of the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University, at the Ein-Kerem campus, which is shared by the Hebrew University and Hadassah Medical Center.
