Completed her graduate
studies at Hebrew University, where she studied under Prof. Noomi Katz, the
founder of cognitive rehabilitation studies in Israel. Her main field of
research relates to neurocognitive rehabilitation and is dedicated to
understanding cognitive deficits in the context of real-world outcomes within a
bio-psycho-social model of health. Her research includes the development of
assessment and treatment protocols for individuals with acquired and
developmental neurocognitive deficits across the lifespan. Prof. Maeir currently
serves as the Director of the School of Occupational Therapy of the Hebrew
University Faculty of Medicine and is the Chair of its graduate program.
