Our laboratory of pharmacoepidemiology researches clinical patient outcomes from therapeutics by using epidemiological methods and applying them to understanding the determinants of beneficial and adverse drug effects. In our laboratory we investigate effects of different chronic drug therapies in large numbers of people, focusing on elderly population. As clinical pharmacist and researcher in the fields of pharmacoepidemiology, we detect relevant clinical questions and conduct epidemiological research, including observational studies and meta-analyses.
