Research Team
This
laboratory focuses on the development and the investigation of protocols for
occupational therapy across the lifespan for individuals with neuro-cognitive
impairment. The laboratory's tasks include the development of ecological
assessment tools and treatment protocols which aim to improve participation and
quality of life for the target population.
Main Research Projects
- Cog-Fun: Cognitive, occupation-based intervention
for children and adolescents with ADHD
- A study of ADHD implications among college
students according to the ICF and Model of Human Occupation
- A study of recovery processes among adults with
ADHD
- Occupational based group intervention for elderly
who report everyday memory problems
- The efficacy of meta-cognitive, occupation- based
intervention for adults with mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI)
- Development of a the PICME, a pictorial
self-assessment tool, for executive functions in daily life for children
- Development of the "Kettle Assessment", an
ecological performance measure to assess daily cognitive skills for adults with
suspected cognitive impairments, as well as the suitability to the multicultural
context of Israel (ie a version specifically relevant to the Arab
community).
