Shalom, welcome, ahalan!
Sometime in the late 90s, I studied Math, Physics and Chemistry in the Talpiot program of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. I then switched to Systems and Developmental Biology for my PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science, with Profs. Naama Barkai and Benny Shilo.
I switched to metabolism in my post-doc with Prof. Doug Melton at Harvard University, where I learned to perform bariatric surgeries on mice from Prof. Nick Stylopoulos in Boston Children's Hospital. I opened the lab in the Hadassah Medical School at Jerusalem in Nov. 2016 (20 years after starting my undergraduate studies!), and aim to merge everything I've learned to discover new biology and medicine for metabolic diseases.
Besides science, I love (trail) running, hiking, my wife and our three boys.
