General

Our lab is interested in sensory information processing. Specifically, we study the vomeronasal system, a chemosensory system dedicated to detection and analysis of chemical cues from other organisms. We employ electrophysiological recordings in anesthetized mice, as well as behavioral and optogenetic tools in freely behaving mice.  We have various research questions on our agenda as well as funding to approach them and are looking for talented and motivated students to take part in them. Read more to learn what we study, why we study it, and how we conduct our research.

We are currently looking for PhD students and postdocs to lead some of our funded projects. See the join us tab for a little more detail and the research tab for even more detail.
