מטרת העל של המחקר הרב מקצועי הזה היא קידום ההבנה של קשיים תפקודיים תוך שימוש בכלים טכנולוגיים מתקדים. באופן ספציפי, מחקר זה עוסק בפיתוח ותיקוף של כלים יעילים ונוחים למשתמש אשר יוכלו להיות מועברים פנים אל פנים ומרחוק כאמצעי להערכת תפקוד. בין היתר, נעשה שימוש בכיתה וירטואלית Virtual Classroom להערכת תפקודי קשב, ב (the Jansari assessment of Executive Functions for Children (JEF-C©, והערכה אקולוגית רגעית Ecological momentary assessment (EMA)

הערכת יעילותן של תוכניות התערבות בריפוי בעיסוק
מחקר זה עוסק בין היתר בהתאמה תרבותית של תוכניות התערבות ובבחינת יעילותן. לדוגמה תוכנית מעגן אשר הותאמה לאוכלוסייה החרדית בישראל. כמו כן, המחקר עסק בבחינה של ההתאמה לישראל של תוכנית מניעה לקידום בריאות, תפקוד ואיכות חיים של קשישים. בנוסף לכך, פיתחנו ובחנו את יעילותה של תוכנית התערבות בריפוי בעיסוק באמצעות רכיבה טיפולית לקידום תפקודים ניהוליים עבור ילדים עם הפרעת קשב וריכוז.
