Areas of research

Participation, quality of life, and environmental factors in diverse populations with and without disabilities in the community (Children, youth, adults and old adults; e.g., ASD, ADHD, Epilepsy and different health and social conditions).
Participation evaluation tools (Structured Preschool Participation Observation; SPO, CASP among children and youth with TBI)
Environmental factors, with a focus on socio-cultural factors (cultural competence, values and perceptions).
Cultural adaptations of assessment tools (e.g. PIC-ME) and intervention protocols (e.g., Cog-fun, mother and child play intervention) in Occupational Therapy for different populations (e.g., ultra-orthodox, Arabic and immigrants).
Developing occupational therapy services in the community, medical education and clinical studies.
