Aims and Objectives of the Program

The overall objective of the IMPH program is to equip students with a strong foundation in the theory and practice of public health and community medicine. This objective is achieved through the completion of core and elective courses, a mentored Thesis, and through one of the program's highlights, is the Community Oriented Primary Care, COPC, training course. COPC is an innovative approach to health care delivery at the population level that integrates clinical medicine and public health. The COPC model was developed in our School and is employed in communities worldwide.
Courses are taught by faculty members with vast international experience, bringing a high level of expertise to the program. Our teachers are deeply involved, caring and have open communication with their students. Together, the faculty and administrative staff strive to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, enabling students to succeed in this demanding yet rewarding degree program.
