To apply for the IMPH Program, select the International Program option once you begin your application.
- Academic degree certificates and valid official transcripts - Scanned copies of relevant academic degrees, Bachelor's level and higher (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral, professional degrees such as MD or JD Do not upload diplomas or certificates which do not grant an academic degree. If transcripts are not in English, submit original and official translations.
- Applicants from countries where English is not the language of instruction must present results of an English language proficiency exam from a recognized language-instruction institute (e.g., TOEFL or IELTS). Applicants who have previously studied at an institution where English is the language of instruction do not need to submit proof of English proficiency, but need to provide a proof that studies were conducted in English.
- Medical Report attesting to the applicant's good health signed by a physician. Please note, medical insurance does not cover dental care and expenses arising from pre-existing conditions and certain other health conditions/procedures.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Personal Statement - an autobiography describing our professional experiences and training prior to the job in which you are currently employed, the reasons for wanting to pursue a Master degree in Public Health, why you believe you qualify for this program, what you expect to hold upon IMPH completion and future implementation in your country.
- Letters of Recommendation from 3 senior university faculty or professionals. Letters should be requested from current or former supervisors, employers, professors, or mentors (at least one must be an academic referee). While peer recommendations are not usually sufficient, references from IMPH alumni are welcomed. Letters, at a minimum, should address basic topics such as the applicant's academic ability, likelihood of success in our rigorous program, and potential to contribute to public health. Letters must be written on letterhead, signed, and uploaded directly by the person writing the letter. Letters uploaded by the applicant will be disregarded. Letters must be received by our program from all 3 referees by the application deadline. If your referee has difficulties using the recommendation link, please advise them to email letter directly (by the referee only) to the IMPH ProgramAcademic Administrator email: irena.samaan@mail.huji.ac.il. The email subject line should read: IMPH Reference- (name of applicant, country). Files missing reference letters will not be considered.
- Passport scan for non-Israeli citizens.
- Optional: Letter from an employer or future employer attesting to the intent to employ or re-employ the applicant upon completion of the MPH degree.
All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of $25 USD via the online application system. The total application fee is $75 USD. Applicants who are accepted into the IMPH Program will be required to refund the Hebrew University the remaining balance during the academic year.
